This series digs into the Salt Lake City trio bombings which happened in 1985 that killed two people and shook the Latter-day Saints Church and the whole Mormon community. This unbelievable tale of atrocities, deception, and crime will surely grip your attention and shock you too.

  1. Behind Her Eyes - A treat for the drama-lovers, suspense-lovers, romance-lovers, and psycho-thriller lovers, this series is full of palpable tension and has a touch of brooding mystery to it. It is based on the best-selling novel by the same name, written by Sarah Pinborough. The series starts off as a run-of-the-mill love triangle and as you progress you can feel the undercurrents of something much more bizarre as the story unfolds many dimensions. The leading cast has Simona Brown, Tom batman, and Eve Hewson. The ending is most unexpected and twisty which is like a cherry on the cake.

  1. Bridgerton - This period-drama (set in the Regency-era) is on its way to becoming the most-watched Netflix series of all time. Shonda Rhimes’ has given a sumptuous drama with this series which is totally worth binge-watching. The series takes us through the lives of an exclusive and mighty Bridgerton clan of eight closely-knit siblings. The story is narrated by Julie Andrews (who is the voice of Lady Whistledown, an anonymous gossip writer) and has wowed the viewers with its gorgeous costumes and royal aesthetics. It has caught viewers’ attention for many reasons like its racially diverse cast, impressive soundtracks, and a light-hearted feel which doesn't need your intense emotional investment yet tickles your senses.

  1. Bordertown - It is a Nordic Noir Finnish series that has received major acclaim globally and is now available on Netflix. It is the story of a talented detective who moves to a small town near the borders of Russia to spend some quality time with his family as his wife survives brain cancer. But life doesn't turn out to be as peaceful as he expected and a network of disturbing cases all around him keep him on his toes. The series depicts his struggle in fighting these despicable crimes, trying to keep his family together, and all this while fighting his own Aspergers’ symptoms.

  1. Feel good - This British comedy-drama series premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on 18th March 2020. It is the story of the romance between Mae and George, set in contemporary London city. Both Mae (a comedian of Canadian origin) and George (a middle-class English woman) meet at a comedy club where George performs. The series deals with the struggle of Mae with drugs and how Geroge finds it difficult to talk about her relationship with Mae with her family which jeopardizes their relationship. Feel good stars Mae Martin who is also a co-creator of this six-episode series which has two seasons.

  1. Fate: The Winx Saga - This one's for teenagers and high schoolers though it will equally interest viewers of other age groups. This teen drama series is a take-off of the Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club. A magical story about fairies who attend a magical boarding school (Alfea college) to gain mastery of their skills. The dark fantasy drama deals with how these fairies balance their love life and friendships while they also fight monsters and ancient creatures around them. 

  1. The Queen’s Gambit - This brand new limited series follows the life of a child prodigy, Beth Harmon (played by Anya Taylor-Joy). Beth was orphaned at 9 years of age and that's when she discovers her love and immense talent for the game of Chess. She becomes a master of the game, breaking gender notions and defeating grandmasters. But the child stardom has its own price which comes in the form of alcoholism and substance abuse.

  1. Cobra Kai - Based on Karate Kid films, this martial arts comedy series has become a favorite of Netflix fans ever since its release in January 2021. This karate school drama appeals to the senses of all age groups and three seasons of this series are out as of date.

  1. Lupin - This is a French crime drama series starring Omar Sy of Jurassic World fame. He plays the role of teenager Assane Diop whose father died when he is accused of a crime he did not commit. Assane grows to become a professional thief and twenty five years later sets out to seek revenge on the Pellegrini family which framed his father.
